Material Handler

Material Handler
to be based at our manufacturing facility in Thomaston, GA.

The
Material Handler
will be responsible for transporting section beams between warping and slashing using electric hoists and dollies. This position will also assist with the housekeeping in the warping department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Use electric hoists and dollies to transport section beams
  • Weigh full beams on floor scales and determine the net weight of the yarn
  • Record beam numbers, yarn counts, yarn weight, and number of ends per beam
  • Clean off each warping machine after each creel and sweep up waste

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to push/pull up to 300 lb. beams on wheeled dollies
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
