Job Responsibilities:Asan employee of the State of Georgia, The Hourly Support Service Worker isresponsible for helping Georgia's citizens obtain the legal documents fordriver licenses, identity cards, and permits in compliance with state laws andregulations.

Working Conditions:
Road tests are conductedthroughout the year in a variety of weather conditions including rain, wind,summer heat and cold winter days. Testing begins in the early morning hours andcontinues through the early evening hours. The test runs approximately 30minutes.
Other important things youshould know:
Applications should be filledout carefully to be considered complete. An incomplete application with insufficient information will not beconsidered.
Employees may be scheduled towork up to 29 hours per week.
Conditions of Employment:
A valid Georgia driver'slicense is required and must be maintained while employed in this position.Non-Georgia residents must have a recognized equivalent license. If a validGeorgia driver's license has not been held for at least three years at the timeof application, you will be required to obtain a Motor Vehicle record from theprevious state of licensure prior to hire.
o Successful completion ofthe CCKE (Certified Commercial Knowledge Examiner) Certification, a nationalcertification is required by all employees who issue driver's licenses.
o Employees who conduct CDL(Commercial Driver's License) road tests must successfully complete the CDLExaminer Certification and the CCE (Certified Commercial Examiner)Certification
o Employees must maintainthese requirements to continue employment with DDS.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.At least 18 years of age. A valid Class C Georgia Driver's License. Comfortableworking with computer and internet technology.
Must be eighteen (18) yearsof age
Completion of a high schooldiploma or GED is required
A valid Georgia Class C orequivalent License is required and must be maintained while employed in thisposition.
At least one (1) year ofFace-to-face Customer Service experience within the last five years
At least one (1) year ofrecent Face-to-face experience with cash transactions including handling cash,daily reconciliation, and processing credit card payments within the last fiveyears
Preferred Qualifications:
At least three (3) years ofFace-to-face Customer Service experience within the last five years
At least three (3) years ofrecent Face-to-face experience with cash transactions including handling cash,daily reconciliation, and processing credit card payments within the last fiveyears
Live within 30 miles of theCustomer Service Center for which you are applying
Bilingual skillsetpreferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
