Day-to-Day Role:>

  • Review production schedules and ensure that resources are correct and staged for use.
  • Accurately count materials packaged or loaded onto skids.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for tracking daily production in downtime.
  • Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process for compliance with set standards.
  • Package only finished products that meet predetermined standards.
  • Reject materials that do not meet product specifications to allow for repackaging or grinding.
  • Label cartons or packaging with appropriate computerized labels.
  • Ensure auxiliary machines and lines (anti-fog or silicone tanks) are filled with product to allow for seamless production.
  • Work with supervisors to assure machines are kept clean, performing routine daily checkups.
  • Relieve any jammed lines and ensure trim does not back up.
  • Make minor machine adjustments in order to maintain acceptable product output. Communicate any problems and concerns to supervisors and work as a team member to resolve issues.

Core skills and qualifications:

  • Six (6) months experience manufacturing product handling in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to work twelve (12) hour rotating shifts every other weekend.
  • Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
