Raw Material Mixer

Day-to-Day Role:>

  • Operate infer-red dryers and ensure material is test to confirm it is PET. Ensure dryers are run at proper speed and maintain desired levels to provide consistently dried material.
  • Operate forklift equipment, including electric forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
  • Properly run pelletizer as needed to support microwave material to the machines.
  • Pelletize mixed colors of regrind at a low percentage combined with black regrind to be blown into the regrind silo.
  • Monitor silo material level.
  • Set correct mix of materials on machine by turning controls and gauges.
  • Monitor material as it moves to extruder machines.
  • Conduct weekly inventory counts of resin
  • Sanitize blending room, silos, and rail car area. Perform weekly cleaning of all silo filters and regrind machines.
  • Attend safety classes as scheduled
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Six (6) months demonstrated experience operating a forklift in manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to work rotational weekends (12 hour rotating shifts)
  • Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
