Chief Nursing Officer

As a member of the Executive Management Team, the Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the overall administration, direction and coordination of all Nursing areas and other assigned areas. Must be very strong in areas of QA, hospital finance/ budgeting, and overall clinical management. A positive, diplomatic, and team promoting approach is essential in this position. The CNO position requires a great deal of visibility in all areas as well as accessibility.
Bachelor's Degree (BA, BSN, or Healthcare related degree)
At least five years of increasingly responsible, mid to upper management level clinical or administrative nursing experience in an acute care hospital or comparable facility.
At least seven years of increasingly responsible clinical or administrative nursing experience in an acute care hospital or comparable facility, five years of which must have been at the upper or middle management level.
