Clinical Supervisor- Perioperative Services
A registered nurse who under the direct supervision of the Director of Peri-operative Services, assist in supervising, planning, organizing, responsibilities include provision of proper nursing environment, maintenance of quality patient care, compliance with physician orders, hospital policies and nursing standards. He/She is responsible for 24 hours accountability and spend 80% of time in management. Circulating call will be required during staffing shortages. The patient population primarily served is infant to geriatric.
EDUCATION:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 12 hrs. continuing education per year
Experience:
Required:
Management Experience in the OR.
Desired:
Knowledge of all types of Surgical Equipment
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia, BLS
